Game Director and co-founder of Rocksteady Games, Sefton Hill, assured us that the team has their best engineers assisting to fix the issues plaguing the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight. Today the first patch became available, and even though it’s rather small in size at only 67MB it does seem to resolve some of the game’s issues.
The changelog is as follows:
- Motion blur can be disabled.
- Users can verify the game on Steam without the need of downloading the entire game.
- Fixes the bug that disables rain and ambient occlusion.
- Fixed random crashes.
The changelog indicates that the issues were caused by a bug and not because of certain effects and features being absent from the PC version. If that is the case hopefully the patch will alleviate the issues to some extent. Rocksteady promises more patches will follow in the coming days, so PC gamers could soon be getting the game that they deserve.
