Slightly Mad releases the PC specs required to play its visually striking next-gen racing game.

Slated to roll out on PC this November, Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS is a sandbox-style racing simulator its developer describes as “the most authentic, beautiful, intense, and technically-advanced racing game on the planet.”
While that’s quite a bold statement, there’s really no denying that Project CARS is breathtaking in action. Its luscious next-gen eye-candy is also powered by an enhanced version of the Madness graphics engine, which delivers rich visual fidelity and advanced physics simulation to the experience.
Now Slightly Mad Studios has announced the official PC specs required to run Project CARS in an FAQ. The following is a list of specs gamers with NVIDIA-powered rigs will need.
Minimum requirements:
  • CPU: 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 260
  • Memory: 4GB RAM, 1GB VRAM
Recommended specifications:
  • CPU: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 3700
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GT600 series
  • Memory: 8GB RAM, 2GB VRAM
