Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S7 and its variants are again in the news and this time has the display sizes tipped. In other leak, the Galaxy Unpacked 2016 dates have been also tipped to be on February 20.
A new report citing sources has claimed screen sizes of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, and Galaxy S7 Edge. According to the latest leaked details, Samsung Galaxy S7 is tipped to include a 5.1-inch display, Galaxy S7 Edge to feature a 5.5-inch display, and Galaxy S7 Plus to come with a 6-inch display. Unfortunately, there is no word on the screen size of Galaxy S7 Edge Plus, the fourth variant tipped.
GSM Arena adds that the alleged Galaxy S7 will have two screen sizes based on variants (Galaxy S7 Plus). While the Galaxy S7 Edge will be the only smartphone offering curved screens. The current report contradicts previous reports that claimed four variants of the high-end Galaxy S7 smartphone will be launched.
Of course, as with all rumours and leaks, we advise readers to take the above information about the Samsung Galaxy S7 with a pinch of salt, as the company has yet to make any announcements about its new flagship smartphone and the credibility of the sources cannot be independently verified.
In other news, a Ukrainian tech blogger has reported date for the Samsung Unpacked 2016 event, where the company can be expected to reveal its next flagship. In a tweet, the blogger has suggested that Samsung will reveal the new Galaxy flagship smartphone on February 20. The latest claim refutes an earlier report that indicated that Samsung may launch its flagship smartphone at MWC 2016, as it had with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge last year.
