As we head into the last month of 2015, there are quite a few devices that should be anticipated from the coming year. On the top of the list is Samsung’s Galaxy S7, a device that has managed to surface with an amazing consistency in the rumor mill. But even though Samsung’s devices are always surrounded with more than their fair share of hype, other manufacturers are also out there, ready to provide us with offerings of their own. Today, some information has surfaced about the LG G5 so lets take a look below at what to expect from another Korean manufacturer next year.

Detailed LG G5 Specification Leak Pegs Device With Snapdragon 820 And Retina Scanner

When it comes to the LG G5, we’ve seen little information surface about the device so far. Given the fact that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 seems to be suffering from no issues so far, we can be certain of the fact that nearly all flagship Android smartphones in 2016 should be expecting to come with the chipsets. Today’s leak, straight out of China, makes similar claims for theLG G5, with the device said to feature the Snapdragon 820 and Qualcomm’s Adreno 530 GPU to power things up.
But while the Snapdragon 820 might be a sure thing, there’s another feature that’s been rumored for LG’s next flagship smartphone for quite a while. Rumors about the LG G5 with Iris scanning support on board have been around for as long as May, and with such persistence, we might see things move on to the next level in bio-metric recognition next year with the G5. Though what additional uses the company hopes with this technology, still remain unknown.

In terms of dimensions, the LG G5 should be expected with a 5.6 inch screen, coupled with a resolution of 2K which should make things nice and clear on its screen, though we’re not so sure about overall battery life. Rear camera specifications for the device are said to be of resolution 21MP with a nice 5MP front camera. Given LG’s prowess with camera features on its devices, a 21MP camera sensor is definitely something to be excited about, especially if you’ve been a dedicated user of the company’s products.
With no launch date having surfaced so far, its safe to say that any and every bit of information appearing on the LG G5 should be highly preliminary in nature, with nothing to be taken as a concrete facts. Nevertheless, it does seem to be turning out to be quite a nice device indeed and we’ll keep you updated as more details surface. Till then, let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest.
