Leaked Gameplay Videos Show Tom Clancy’s The Division’s Alpha Build – New Screenshots Released

Long-in-development open world third-person role-paying shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division is finally getting close to being completed and put on discs for players. The game recently ran through an alpha testing phase which was exclusively open for those who pre-ordered it on Xbox One console, and even though the players that got access to the alpha had to sign a non-disclosure agreement, nearly an hour of gameplay footage showing the alpha build has leaked online.

Leaked Footage from The Division Closed Xbox One Alpha Show Gameplay, Character Customization and More –  3 New Screenshots Released

Those who pre-ordered Tom Clancy’s The Division on Xbox One were recently provided with priority access to a closed alpha of the game that took place between December 9 and 12. The alpha build of the game, which is a massive 23.2GB download, was supposed to kept from being exposed to general public by locking it behind an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), which restricted players from sharing any sort of information and footage from the alpha build. But what good is an alpha/beta testing phase of a game if it sees no leaked content being shared online.
The leaked gameplay videos show vast in-game environments spruced up with a high level of detail for an alpha build. In addition to character customization and combat, fans can also see areas other than the Dark Zone PvP enabled places. Of course, Ubisoft acted quickly and took down all the leaked videos shared on YouTube and other video sharing websites, so you’ll have to head over to this NeoGAF thread to download or watch the videos online. In addition to the videos, here are 3 brand new screenshots that Ubisoft itself released in an interview with IGN.
After being pushed back multiple times, The Division is finally set to hit shelves next year on March 8 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Those who have or will pre-order the game on any of the platforms will get access to a beta that is scheduled to begin in early 2016.
