Microsoft and 343 Industries have released the Opening Cinematic for Halo 5: Guardians “Blue Team”, showcasing the legendary Master Chief lead the Blue Team aboard a derelict Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) research facility to ensure its contents don’t fall into the hands of a renegade faction of Covenant zealots.

According to Digital Foundry, Halo 5 provides an “almost” rock-solid 60fps experience, courtesy of 343’s implementation of dynamic resolution scaling. Microsoft has recently released a new video for Halo 5: Guardians, showcasing some High-resolution gameplay capture featuring a small section of the campaign mission ‘Swords of Sanghelios’. The footage is taken from Solo gameplay. The opening cinematic of Halo 5: Guardians, has also been revealed, and it does look quite impressive. The trailer shows Spartan Locke and the rest of Fireteam Osiris as they receive UNSC orders to recover a high value target and deploy to take on Covenant and Promethean forces in a fierce action sequence. Nathan Fillion as Edward Buck looks and sounds exactly like his witty self.
