Batman Arkham Knight’s New Beta Patch makes a Brief Appearance, Reveals New Graphics Options

Following AMD’s release of the new Catalyst Driver a couple of days ago that featured some performance improvements for Batman Arkham Knight, we get another tease that the hugely anticipated patch for the PC version of Arkham Knight, will be with us soon. Earlier today a beta patch made a brief appearance, before it was taken down shortly after. Thankfully though, the game’s new graphics options were revealed, which include as Rocksteady promised options to turn off Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain. A selection for maximum frame-rate is offered , as well as a new indicator for the percentage of VRAM used. A High Textures option has been implemented, requiring 4GB of VRAM.

The patch for the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight should be coming soon

There is no indication as to when the patch will be available on Steam, but it shouldn’t be too long. It appears though that PC gamers will eventually be getting the Batman Arkham Knight version they deserve.

  • Optimized system memory and VRAM usage
  • Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
  • Min Spec AMD GPU is once again the Radeon HD 7870 2GB
  • More Robust In-Game Settings, including:
  • Added the ability to change settings for Max FPS to 30/60/90
  • Added toggles for Motion Blur, Chromatic Aberration, and Film Grain
  • Added a “High” Texture Resolution value
  • Added Texture Filtering option
  • Added an Adaptive V-Sync option (NVIDIA only)
  • Added VRAM Usage Meter
  • Added Mouse Sensitivity Slider & Mouse Smoothing Option
  • Fixed low resolution texture bugs
  • Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)
Batman Arkham Knight is currently available on the PS4 and Xbox One, with the updated PC version expected to be available in the next few weeks.
