The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt New Screenshots Show Incredible Graphics – So much for a Downgrade

CD Projekt RED has released three new gameplay screenshots for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt showing some incredible level of detail. Ultra settings seem quite comparable to the old build that wowed us back at the reveal of the game. Downgrade accusations do not seem so relevant at this point, and while the overall look of the game has been altered a bit, it is by no means of lesser quality. This level of quality at 4K will look absolutely phenomenal.
Check out the new screenshots below:

The Witcher 3 features a huge open world with insane amounts of detail and variety in its environments

Some have made comments that Ryse looks better than this, to be fair though, Crytek’s title is a linear path driven hack ‘n’ slash, whereas The Witcher 3 features a huge open world RPG, with insane amounts of detail, and a lot more variety in its environments. Regardless, the beauty of The Witcher 3 cannot be denied.
We have previously reported that the reviews for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will go live a week before the release of the game, which goes to show how dedicated CD Projekt RED is to their fans and the community.
You can checkout the last Ultra settings 1080p 60fps footage provided by YouTuber ImAnderZEL, as well as the previous video here. Note that the video is not of the highest quality and it from a previous build of The Witcher 3 and not the final. The specs of the system are – GTX 980, i7 4790, 8GB.
The new site for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt features a vast description in all aspects of the massive RPG including its story, enemies and allies, the child of prophecy, equipment, mutations and others.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is said to offer over 100 hours of game time, and even a speedrun took internal testers 25 hours to complete. The full map of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is absolutely huge, and there are many different areas and environments that players traverse in during their countless quests.
Nvidia has recently released a gameplay video for the Witcher 3, showcasing Nvidia HairWorks, PhysX and other features. A behind the scenes video released by CD Projekt RED shows Game of Thrones’ Charles Dance talk about his role in the Witcher 3.
The Witcher 3 is only three weeks away from release, and as we have previously covered, CD Projekt has already announced that pre-load options are already live, as well as the unlock times for The Witcher 3.
