Analyst Predicts iPhone 6s Duo Will Feature A9 Chip, And 12 MP Camera

When it comes to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6s duo, there have been a boatload of rumors surrounding these smartphones, and like always, the tech giant will be looking to raise the bar when it comes to overall performance, aesthetics and feature-portfolio of its next batch of iPhones. Now, KGI Securities’ notorious Ming-Chi Kuo, who is responsible for providing accurate leaks of iPhones, has unearthed another report that suggests that the upcoming iPhone 6s duo is going to be packing a lot of impressive hardware, which is exactly the kind of music that iPhone buffs are looking forward to hear.
Analysts Predict iPhone 6s Duo Will Feature A9 Chip, And 12 MP Camera

A9 SoC, 12 MP Camera And 2 GB of RAM Will Be Present In iPhone 6s And iPhone 6s Plus

As we are all aware, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to feature the Force Touch tech, which allows the display to measure how hard you are pressing the screen of the mobile device. While the aforementioned feature was already known from previous leaks, the latest one states that Apple will be looking to maintain the screen size of its iPhone 6s duo. iPhone 6s will feature a 4.7 inch screen while iPhone 6s Plus will possess a gigantic 5.5 inch screen. Thanks to the difference is screen sizes, it is possible that Apple will incorporate a much denser resolution on the phablet size iPhone 6s Plus compared to the regular sized one.
Coming to the hardware specifications, Apple A9 chipset will be powering up both of them (no surprise there), along with 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a powerful 12 MP rear camera sensor. According to the analyst, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will commence mass production in late August, with approximately 80-90 million units are expected to be sold throughout the course of 2015. In order to prevent another ‘bendgate’ saga, the new models will use Series 7000 aluminum, which is going to be 60 percent tougher that the current material incorporated on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

While it is no secret, the upcoming flagship duo will possibly be running iOS 9, which will focus on performance improvements rather than stuffing in additional features. As for the pricing details, Apple will most likely be maintaining the same price tags for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as it did with its current large screen iPhone duo. If there is one thing that Apple should cut off completely, it’s the 16 GB on-board memory present on its mobile storage offerings. Modicum amounts of storage delivers copious number of issues for smartphone users, particularly those which do not feature a storage expansion slot. In the future, it will be considered improvement from Apple’s side if the company begins its base storage models from 32 GB.
Now, all we have to do is to play for the waiting game.
