The driver weighs in at 283.00 MB and supports every GeForce graphics cards since the GeForce 400 series up to the GeForce GTX Titan X. The driver is specifically aimed to optimize performance for Rockstar’s behemoth title which is coming to the PC platform one and a half year of its initial release on the previous generation of consoles (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3). The game was released on current generation consoles in late 2014 however, the PC version was delayed due to optimizations being done by the Rockstar teams which also did include the developers from Max Payne 3 who did a great job optimizing the game on PC. The GTA V PC version is not only going to be the best version of GTA V but also one of the best open world AAA title and a true successor to GTA IV which has been modded to extreme lengths by the PC modding community.
Some features supported by the GTA V for GeForce users include 3D Vision, 4K, 4K Surround, Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR), GameStream, GeForce Experience one-click Optimal Playable Settings, G-SYNC, G-SYNC Surround, Multi Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing (MFAA), Percentage Closer Soft Shadows (PCSS), SLI, Surround, and TXAA. NVIDIA has also added SLI profiles so that users who are running multiple GPUs don’t get any sort of functionality issues while playing the game.
Aside from the drivers and features included for GeForce graphics cards, the game also has several graphics configuration options of its own which we discussed in detail last week.
