Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – PC Gamers Will Get The Best Possible Experience; Treyarch Aims for 1080p@60fps for both Consoles

Black Ops 3 has just been revealed with a pretty impressive gameplay trailer that demonstrates the frantic action players can expect from the next iteration in the Call of Duty franchise.

Treyarch has revealed that they are aiming for 1080p and 60fps on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Call of Duty Black Ops 3.

Mark Lumia, Head of Treyarch, in a recent interview, stated that Treyarch’s aim is to make all three versions of Black Ops 3 look very good. He emphasised that Treyarch’s 300 employees want to ensure that  “PC Gamers get the best possible experience” They don’t want the PC version feel like it’s in “second Place”,
Lumia mentioned that the focus is to make the game run at 60fps for both consoles. The PlayStation 4 version of Black Ops 3 is already at 1080p, but when asked about the resolution of the Xbox One version he avoided the question, saying that the frame rate is the “higher priority”.

The requirements for the PC version of Black Ops 3 are as follows:

Network: Broadband Internet connection
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
The pre-order page for Black Ops 3 is now open and grants you access to the Beta. We will bring you any new information on Black Ops 3 as soon as it becomes available. The title is being developed by Treyarch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and will release on November 6 2015.
