Launched: Micromax Canvas Selfie smartphone with 13 MP front and rear camera launched for Rs 15999

Micromax announced the Canvas Selfie smartphone in the Indian market in December, but was not launched. Finally, the Canvas Selfie smartphone is priced at Rs. 15,999 and is likely to go on sale by next week.
 
The company has designed this device for image-conscious women. So, it features a 13 megapixels rear and front camera with LED flash and sensors. It features a faux leather rear finish. The camera features eye enhancement, face slimming, skin smoothening, teeth whitening, remove oil, fade dark circles and make-up.
 
Micromax Canvas Selfie is a dual-SIM device and runs Android 4.4 operating system. It features a 4.7 inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor with 2GB RAM.
 
Canvas Selfie comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. It is powered backed by a 2300 mAh battery. For connectivity, it includes - Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. It will be available in Mystic Blue and Angelic White colours.
