CD Projekt Red’s community manager has shared his enthusiasm on the “awesome” features and changes, coming to the Blood and Wine expansion for the Witcher 3.
Community manager Marcin Momot took to Twitter to share that he’s currently in a meeting looking at all the upcoming changes and features coming to the Blood and Wine DLC for the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. According Momot, the changes and new features are simply “awesome”.

Although he can’t give out specific details on the upcoming expansion, he did point out that CD Projekt Red is “implementing a bunch of things based on community’s feedback”.

Blood and Wine expansion slated for first half of 2016
Last month, CD Projekt Red announced a release window for the upcoming The Witcher 3 expansion. Blood and Wine is slated for a release in the first half of 2016, and is said to offer around 20 hours of gameplay.
a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint and will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.
Blood and Wine is rumoured to include new characters that fans of the Witcher novels may recognize from the novels. As the expansion is set in Touissant, players might well come across sorceress Fringilla Vigo, and duchess Anna Henrietta.
CD Projekt Red is currently working hard on patch 1.12 for The Witcher 3. According Momot, the patch will only include fixes, and won’t offer new features. The exact contents of the patch are unknown, but it should at least fix the Pickaxe bug in the Runesmith quest. A bug that wasn’t fixable in the 1.11 patch.
Patch 1.12 is slated for a release this month. We’ll keep you updated when we learn more about patch 1.12 for The Witcher 3.
